Coming Up: FabricTV+ and the first-ever Fabric Film Festival!
/TV shows captivate us with their drama, humor, and depth—but they also reveal powerful truths about life, relationships, and what it means to be human. In our new series, FabricTV+, we’ll use clips from iconic episodes to explore the theme of "honest"—what it looks like to tell the truth about ourselves, embrace vulnerability, and live authentically with God, others, and our own true selves.
Join us for a creative, thought-provoking journey where pop culture meets spirituality, inviting us to weave deeper connections in our lives and our world.
We’ll be exploring The Good Place, Young Sheldon, Ted Lasso, and Severance this February!
But that’s not all…
Announcing: the Fabric Film Festival on March 2!
What does it mean to be honest? Is honesty always about telling the truth, or is it sometimes about what we choose to reveal? Does honesty bring freedom? Chaos? Connection? Is it raw and vulnerable, or is it awkward and hilarious? We're open to a lot of these possibilities. Honest! For this, the first-ever Fabric Film Festival on March 2, we invite you to explore the theme: HONEST. Whether it’s an honest mistake, an honest conversation, or an honest moment of self-discovery, we want to see your unique take—funny, heartfelt, absurd, profound, or anything in between.Rules & Requirements:
Teams must register by February 20th. (linked here or at the button below)
Films must be uploaded to the provided Google Drive link by February 28th.
Keep your film between 5 and 7 minutes.
Have fun! This is about creativity, expression, and reflection—not perfection.
Your Creative Challenge:
To keep things interesting, your film must include:
A required phrase: “Well, that was unexpectedly personal”
A required prop: A mismatched pair of socks! (interpret as literally or abstractly as you like).
Think honestly. Create boldly. Have fun. We can’t wait to see what you come up with!
Shout a holler if you’d like any additional information. Otherwise, please consider registering a team to create and submit a short film— this could be a great way for you and your Fabric Group to engage together, too!
