Fabric and Drag Bingo - What's the Why?

When I ask newer folks how things are going as they start getting to know Fabric, helping out on Sundays or joining a group, a common refrain I hear is “Fabric is so intentional!” They are on to something.

Fabric started with resources and a mandate to experiment with what “church” could look like for people who had given up on the idea or never seen a reason to give it a chance. For every “what should we do?” we’ve been free to first ask that critical question: why? If we can’t name a compelling and current why for something, we learn to say no or let go.

This week we had the joy and privilege of hosting Drag Bingo with B & M Entertainment. We were having so much fun Greg didn’t get a chance to explore the “why” on Sunday so he did it here. (WHY? So you can wrestle with your own ways of weaving life more deeply and the whys behind them. And not do it alone!)

Check it out. And then talk about it! Here’s this week’s discussion guide.

BONUS: Notice the bird at the feeder in the background and identify it correctly and you get an extra FREE space on your Bingo card!
