WEAVERS ARE…kids in 4th and 5th grade.
Such an amazing age! Just as a textile weaver would work their yarn into colorful and complex patterns, so are our young people at this age. We look to engage Weavers to take the big emotions and big ideas they are experiencing and connect them to the world around them. Weavers spend time together developing their sense of self and what they care deeply about, sharing and learning from their peers and mentors, and asking questions about the mysteries of what is bigger than themselves!
Weavers find ways to connect! We need you – because when you show up – it matters! You make things more… Interesting - Curious - Fun - Creative - Caring - Silly - Human – and Connected!

A Time for Stillness: We have just finished a season filled with figgy pudding, drummers drumming, FaLaLas and a pretty busy calendar that might have left us feeling depleted and worn out. The world has given us a winter gift of a natural pause, a season of rest, darkness, and stillness that both releases us from the chaotic and calls us into the calm. Join us this January as we listen for the whispers of wholeness and mystery that our hearts are longing for. More HERE.
What’s a Mash-Up?
In musical terms it is a creative blending of two or more pre-existing works or songs, for us it’s taking two different tween and teen groups and blending them together to create a time for connection, leadership, and fun! The Fray Middle Schoolers meet every Wednesday evening throughout the school year and once a month the 4th and 5th grade Weavers join in to get in the practice of being part of the group. Mash-Ups are held on the first Wednesdays of the month, usually from 6-8pm and are often out and about someplace where we can be active and accommodate our energetic group!
