Good Grief: The Sacred Territory of Sadness
The emphasis on birth, togetherness and new possibility around the Christmas season can bring a wide range of sorrow and grief to the surface. Even more in these darker days and this year of isolation and loss related to the pandemic. What is missing that you’d expected or hoped for? What feels unrealized or lost? Fabric welcomes local spiritual director, Patricia Brenneman, to lead us in a virtual gathering to explore the sacred territory of grief where we can honor and work with the pain of our particular losses, together, without needing to make it “all better.”
Please join this virtual offering on Thursday, December 17 from 6:30-8:00 PM. Register here (or email info@fabricmpls.com) by December 16.
This is a free event.
We will share a link that evening for those wishing to donate toward the work of MN Healing Justice Network to reduce racial health and wellness disparities.
For the gathering, each participant is invited to bring:
An unlit candle and something to light it with
A notebook and something to write with
An object found in nature that, for you, symbolizes your grief
